CLIENT: ANONYMOUS SERVICES: PHOTOGRAPHY YEAR: 2016
I received a call from a friend cameraman back in 2016. It was a cold rainy day and he asked me if I can urgently accompany him to do photography while he was going to film. He told that he got a call from the client just yesterday. On the site I learned that it was a funeral of a new born. This was the first time that I was photographing a funeral and that also of a baby. I can say that it was the most painful photography experience for me and the weather played it’s own part to make the day more gloomy for everyone. No one can comprehend the pain that parents, siblings and close ones go through at such a tragic time, however being a photographer capturing those painful moments were very heavy on me as well and those feelings will stay with me forever.
I still question myself to why a child who remained in development for months did not get the chance to spread the joy with his innocence around him?
